Reliable products come from strong engineering.
Successful projects require support when challenges appear.
Lasting partnerships depend on responsibility that continues after delivery.
At HKT ROBOT, we stay involved when products enter real operating conditions, when unexpected challenges appear, and when customers need further engineering improvement.
For us, after-sales service is not an extra step. It is part of the same commitment we make from the beginning of every project.

A Field Issue That Appeared After Delivery
A few months ago, we supplied a batch of agv steering drive wheels for one of our overseas customers.
The wheels performed normally before shipment, and the customer's vehicle also passed its initial assembly and factory testing.
However, after the vehicles were delivered to the end-user site and began operating under actual working conditions, the customer found that the wheel tread was deteriorating and leaving pieces of material on the floor.
This issue had not appeared during the earlier factory tests.
For both the customer and us, the priority was to identify the cause and restore normal operation as soon as possible.
Our Sales and Engineering Team Went to the Customer Site
Instead of relying only on emails, photos, or remote discussions, we arranged for our sales and engineering team to visit the customer site directly.
The team inspected the actual operating conditions, checked the affected steering wheels, replaced the wheels, and worked with the customer to confirm the performance after replacement.
The issue was successfully resolved, and the vehicles returned to normal operation.
For us, this was not simply a replacement job. When a customer encounters a problem after delivery, especially one that appears only in the real application environment, our responsibility is to understand what happened and help bring the project back to stable operation.
That approach also gave the customer confidence to continue working with HKT ROBOT on the next project.
The Next Project Brought New Operating Challenges
This month, the customer visited us in Shenzhen and reviewed a new customized agv steering drive wheel.
This time, the vehicle will operate in a more demanding environment.
It needs to travel over speed bumps and uneven surfaces, while outdoor operation also means that ground clearance, wheel wear, and future maintenance need to be considered more carefully.
These operating conditions created two main concerns.
The first was motor clearance. A standard motor position could be too low when the vehicle passes over speed bumps or uneven ground.
The second was wheel maintenance. In an outdoor application, the wheel may experience more wear than it would on a smooth indoor factory floor, so the customer wanted wheel replacement to be easier and more convenient.
A Steering Wheel Designed Around the Application
One of the main changes was raising the motor position to increase ground clearance. This helps reduce the risk of interference or impact when the vehicle passes over speed bumps or uneven surfaces.
We also optimized the wheel structure to make tire replacement easier.
This may appear to be a small design change, but for a vehicle that operates outdoors and may require regular wheel maintenance, easier replacement can reduce maintenance time and simplify long-term operation.
Instead of asking the customer to adapt the vehicle around a standard steering wheel, we adjusted the steering wheel around the actual application.
Reviewing the Customized Solution Together
During the customer's visit, our team reviewed the customized steering wheel and discussed the vehicle structure, outdoor operating conditions, speed bumps, motor clearance, wheel replacement, and installation requirements.
These discussions are important because selecting an AGV steering wheel is not only about load capacity or motor power.
The real operating environment also matters.
Ground clearance, road conditions, chassis layout, installation space, maintenance frequency, wheel wear, and vehicle structure can all affect whether a steering drive unit will perform reliably over time.
By discussing these factors before production, both sides can identify potential issues earlier and make the design more suitable for the actual vehicle.
After-Sales Support Is Part of Long-Term Cooperation
This project reflects how we HKT ROBOT approaches customer service.
When the original steering wheels encountered a problem after delivery, our team did not consider the project finished simply because the products had already been shipped. We went to the site, worked with the customer, replaced the affected wheels, and helped restore normal operation.
When the customer returned with a new application, the previous experience also helped us understand the project more deeply. The new steering wheel was therefore designed with greater attention to ground clearance, outdoor operation, wheel maintenance, and the customer's actual vehicle structure.
A good supplier should not only deliver the right product at the beginning of a project. It should also be willing to support the customer when real-world conditions create new challenges.
HKT ROBOT: More Than an AGV Steering Wheel Supplier
Founded in 2013, HKT ROBOT has been providing agv steering drive wheels, differential drive units, drive wheels, servo motors, servo drives, gearboxes, controllers, and other AGV and AMR motion components for customers worldwide.
But supplying and delivering AGV components is only part of our work.
From early product selection and customized design to commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales support, our team works closely with customers throughout the project.
We do not simply provide components and walk away after delivery. We work to make sure the solution performs reliably in the real application over time.
Contact us if you have any questions or requirements for AGV and AMR components. Our team is ready to assist you 24/7 and provide practical solutions based on your real application needs.
